Cochin Shipyard Ltd. (CSL) has secured a significant order from a prominent European client for the design and construction of six feeder container vessels, each with a capacity of approximately 1,700 TEUs and powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). The order, valued at over ₹2,000 crore, was formalized with a Letter of Intent signed on October 14, 2025. This development underscores CSL's growing prominence in the global maritime industry and its commitment to sustainable shipping solutions.
