YouTube has announced significant updates to its policies on online gambling content, set to take effect on March 19, 2025. The new regulations aim to enhance viewer protection, particularly for younger audiences, by restricting the promotion of gambling-related content and imposing stricter compliance standards. Under the revised guidelines, YouTube will prohibit any form of directing users to uncertified gambling sites, including URLs, embedded links, logos, verbal endorsements, and visual displays.
